Unraveller: 8-Bit Metal

placeholder

I love music. Specifically metal music. I collect vinyl alongside games. I chose some very expensive hobbies, but I digress. Video game soundtracks have always been great additions to games for me. I also enjoy when people post 8-bit versions of my favorite songs on youtube. Then comes along Unraveller. This is a side project of Mike “Gunface” McKenzie from The Red Chord. It’s all 8-bit metal music. You get awesome metal music presented to you as if it were the soundtrack to a video game, and I absolutely love it. “Kinship Synthesis,” the title track, has got be my favorite track on here by far. It starts off really happy go lucky and then all of a sudden things get really hectic. If you enjoy either 8-bit or metal music I highly suggest you listen to Kinship Synthesis below (and when you’re done you can download it from bandcamp for a name your own price)!

Jarrod’s first console was a Playstation back in 1997 and has been gaming ever since. After years of being stupid and selling most of his games and consoles, he started game collecting in 2013. His main focus is the original Playstation but is interested in most consoles. Between gaming and his record collection it’s almost guaranteed that he’s going to be poor.
